Joseph Priolo, MSW, LSW, LCADC Intern
Joseph has been with Legacy Healing Center since January 2022. As Intake Coordinator, he is responsible for performing admission assessments, acts as a family liaison and holds a small therapeutic caseload. Joseph earned a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Rutgers University. He is a licensed social worker and clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) Intern. Joseph began at Legacy Healing as a case manager before transitioning into the intake coordinator role. Prior to joining Legacy Healing, he worked as a primary counselor for Footprints to Recovery.
Joseph transitioned from a lengthy career in construction to behavioral health work in 2016. He was drawn to the field after being personally affected by addiction. Joseph says watching clients grow and seeing that “light” back in their eyes is what he finds most fulfilling about his work. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and pets, performing, watching live music, and reading.
